For outdoor cooking, an independent food supply is essential. The double-walled, hollow-insulated Petromax cooler provides reliable support in this regard. The Petromax coolers of the kx series keep ice frozen for up to 12 days. The ultra-passive cooling system requires neither electricity nor other energy sources and is operated solely with commercially available ice, cooling packs, or dry ice. With a 25 l capacity, the kx25 also offers sufficient storage space. A major advantage: the internal dimensions are designed so that either 24 x 0.33 l cans or up to 12 x 1 l bottles can be transported upright.

Robust design
With an insulation layer at least 45 mm thick, a constant temperature for the preservation of food and drinks is ensured. Furthermore, the PE body is so robustly constructed that the kx25 can also be used as an elevated platform or a comfortable seat. Thanks to its cuboid shape, it is also easy to stack and stow. The integrated drainage system allows for the easy removal of meltwater, which simplifies refilling ice during use as well as subsequent cleaning.

Ready for any challenge
Strap guides provided on the lid of the cooler make transport on a boat or truck bed easily possible. The ergonomic carrying handles attached to the sides ensure optimal handling and guarantee comfortable carrying even when the cooler is full. At the same time, the handles can be used as tie-down points – this way, the cooler can also be securely fastened during transport. Two durable rubber latches make opening and closing the cooler possible even with wet hands or with one hand. In addition, the contents can be protected from unauthorized access using a padlock through the reinforced locking plates. Four feet provide grip even on slippery surfaces and also ensure constant air circulation at the bottom.

Correct use of the cooler
• Pre-cool the cooler in a cold room or with ice before use
• Only fill with pre-cooled drinks and food
• Ideally, use large, solid blocks of ice
• Always place dry ice, cooling packs, or ice on top, as cold sinks downward
• Open consciously and sparingly
• While on the go, keep the box in a cool, shaded place and avoid direct sunlight.
• Store and transport in an upright position
