Operation & Care
The Petromax Charcoal Starter is filled as needed with charcoal or charcoal briquettes and placed on a fireproof surface, such as a concrete slab, or directly on the grill. Solid firelighters are placed under the starter to ignite the charcoal from below. Once the firelighters have burned down and the charcoal is completely glowing, it is poured into the grill.
