Micropur - Classic MC 10T

Katadyn Micropur Classic MC 10T (Tablets) - simple preservation of tap water. All ingredients used are approved for use in drinking water. Unlike chlorine, which is only effective in water for a few hours, silver ions keep clear drinking water safe for up to 6 months.

Effect: preserves clear drinking water for up to 6 months. Bactericidal after a 2-hour contact time.
Suitable for use in plastic or glass. Do not store Micropur Classic in containers made of aluminum or stainless steel.
Micropur Classic can be used wherever drinking water remains in a system for a long period - such as in cooling circuits, heating circuits, humidifiers, cisterns, water tanks, water baths, incubators, etc. Ideal for water preservation on boats, in campers or caravans, on vacation, and when traveling.

Micropur Classic or Micropur Forte?

Micropur Classic is the perfect agent for water preservation.

Micropur Classic contains silver ions for preservation but no chlorine and is therefore ineffective against viruses. Micropur Classic is used to keep drinking water safe for up to 6 months. The water must come from a safe source and be placed in a clean container. Micropur Classic is then used to ensure that no bacteria can form in the drinking water. Micropur Forte contains silver ions for preservation and chlorine, which also kills viruses and disinfects the water. As soon as you take water from an unsafe source, it is always recommended to use Micropur Forte. Even if a bubbling mountain stream usually looks extremely refreshing, its water quality often leaves something to be desired. Even clear streams and lakes can be contaminated with pathogens.
