All about Geopress Purifier Cartridge (Orange)
Geopress replacement filters are designed for a lifespan of approximately 350 cycles (250 liters).
The lifespan is reduced when purifying water with high levels of silt, sediment, or tannins. The cartridge press time increases toward the end of the cartridge's life. When the press time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced.
Even when the flow time increases, the cartridge continues to provide protection.
It is recommended to replace the cartridge at some point, despite any ecological concerns.
Cartridge shelf life:
An unopened purification cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years when stored under appropriate conditions. Once a cartridge has been used, it will last for at least 3 additional years.
