The latest development in a high-quality, highly functional fleece jacket made of two-layer laminate. The hydrophilic (water-absorbing) inside acts as a moisture buffer to keep the body dry. The hydrophobic (water-repellent) outside prevents condensation from flowing back, and light rain, fog, and snow simply bead off. Optimal heat insulation through reliable moisture transport from the body to the outside. Highly elastic for freedom of movement and breathable. Extended back section to protect the kidneys. Hem with elastic bands; high-closing collar, 2 zippered slide-in pockets.

Layer 1 - The base layer

The first layer (Layer 1) optimally regulates the body's climate during the active phase. No shivering during the rest phase, thanks to optimal re-drying time. Layer 1 must always be worn directly against the skin and forms the basis for optimal body climate regulation.

Layer 2 - The insulation layer
The insulation layer provides ideal warmth
Layer 2 supports climate regulation in cooler environmental conditions and guarantees an additional thermal buffer during the rest phase, without creating an undesirable and uncomfortable heat build-up effect during active phases.

Layer 3 is an efficient moisture valve. Due to its hydrophilic (water-absorbing) inside and its hydrophobic (water-repellent) outside, there is no backflow of condensation, and the skin remains climate-regulated.

This arguably most modern and unique layer clothing system was developed as a research project by armasuisse (the procurement agency of the Swiss Armed Forces) in close cooperation with Christian Eschler AG at Empa St. Gallen and tested under the harshest conditions.
The secret is controlled body climate regulation! The functional clothing system keeps you dry and warm during rest phases and optimally cools you during physical activity. Since excess heat and moisture can be released into the environment very effectively, the clothing offers maximum well-being even during intense physical exertion. Thanks to the use of silver in the functional fiber, odor formation is prevented.
