BatteryGuard™ Technology
BatteryGuard™ – preserves battery power until it is needed. Standard electric lamps lose battery power over time, even when they are switched off. This happens because the battery is never completely disconnected from the contacts. With BatteryGuard™ technology and the simple operation of the switch, battery failure is a thing of the past. BatteryGuard™ is automatically activated as soon as the lamp is switched off via the on/off switch. This disconnects the battery unit from the circuit, preventing the batteries from leaking or corroding inside the lamp. This not only protects your Coleman® lamp, but it also gives the user an extra level of security – battery life is preserved for situations when you need to count on your lamp!
