Baking and cooking without having to wait for the fire to burn down – no problem with the quickly assembled reflector oven.

Placed safely next to the fire, bread, small cakes, rolls, as well as hearty dishes with meat, fish, or vegetables can be prepared in fire pot lids up to size ft4.5, in wrought-iron pans, or in other cookware. With this extended cooking station, outdoor chefs can cook not just in or over the fire, but now also next to it by perfectly utilizing the oven's heat-reflecting properties. This is how baking next to the fire was done as early as the 18th century in America. By placing it at some distance from the fire pit, the reflector oven utilizes the heat of the roaring fire, reflecting it and storing the warmth inside. A rack that sits on the floor of the oven ensures that the Dutch oven lid receives additional bottom heat. Food is cooked through from all sides just like in a conventional oven, with the difference that the campfire chef can see at any time how well the dish is baked or cooked. Whether in the Dutch oven lid or in a pan: depending on the heat, the cookware can be turned so that more or less heat reaches the dish.

Much lighter than its predecessors of the past, the Petromax reflector oven impresses with its quick assembly. Rods provide structural stability so that various cookware can be placed securely inside.

Then as now, cookies, rolls, and cakes, rabbit and poultry, as well as gratins turn out perfectly in this versatile oven. It is the lightweight, quickly assembled, and versatile oven for the Petromax fire bridge or propped up at the same height next to any fire pit like the Atago or grill and fire bowls. The reflector oven brings that sense of discovery to versatile outdoor menus at the open fire.

Ideal combination options
Fire bridge
Wrought-iron pans
Muffin mold
Bundt cake mold
Casserole dish
Fire skillet fp15 – fp30
Grill fire skillet gp30

Technical data
Material: heat- and fire-resistant fibers with reflective coating; stainless steel
Dimensions: approx.
