Finnish knife makers are rare, as the craft requires special manual skills and a deep understanding, especially in the handling of carbon steel. For over a decade, Peltonen Knives blades have been handmade by Finnish craftsmen in the workshop of Laurin Metalli, which was founded in 1918 in Kauhava.

A good knife must not only be safe and durable, but also easy to maintain and keep clean, as well as sit securely in the hand and be ergonomically shaped. Peltonen knives embody all these qualities, combining ergonomics, functionality, and, above all, safety. Our knives are among the best in the world, as they are both durable and adaptable to different needs and purposes. They are carefully designed and manufactured based on real-world experience, constantly being refined and improved.

The M07 Full Tang is an authentic Finnish design, developed and tested by professionals.

The sheath is half the knife
Great attention has been paid to the design of Peltonen knife sheaths.
